sigh, yes metros are completely wonderful no matter where you are traveling...and there is an additional comfort when the public transportation is in your own language!
Thom, when I was taking the tube all over London they had quotes from poems and literature inside the cars - something fun to read over when you are waiting for Charring Cross stop...is there anything fun like that on the DC metro? ..like maybe of the political genre? Just curious :)
